In 2009 the Russia Dock Woodland and the Friends of the Russia Dock Woodland were proud to win two awards.  The Green Flag Award was presented to the Russia Dock Woodland in July 2009 and the London Tree and Woodland Award was presented to the Friends in December 2009.
